Goalie helmets are the most important feature in player safety. Any contact with the head can be dangerous – whether it be a ball, a stick or a boot. There are four important features to be found in goalie helmets. These are:

Protection for the face and head
Player comfort offering a firm fit without head compression creating headaches or cranium tension
Light weight
High visibility.
