Welcome to Mazon goalkeeping.
The Mazon design engineers have focused their development talent to goalkeeper equipment that until the mid 1980s hadn’t changed for many years.
With the developments in stick technology and hitting (as well as changes in short corner rules and accuracy of hitting), goalkeepers required far better protection, more flexibility and greater mobility plus increased comfort. An injured goalkeeper seriously impedes a team’s performance.
Australian goalkeeper Stephen Mowlam and many leading AHL keepers including Aaron McCarthy were instrumental in the testing program for Mazon and the introduction of new goalkeeper components.
This catapulted Mazon yet again as the premier hockey manufacturing company in stick and goalkeeping equipment through our Pro Force, Z-Force and Club ranges of men’s, women’s and junior goalkeeping equipment.
Pro Force gear has been extensively developed and tested in the field by Australian Goalkeepers Stephen Mowlam, Stephen Lambert and Nathan Burgers. Another first for Mazon was the realisation that men’s and female’s body shapes were different and that women required a more tailored fit offering further comfort and flexibility. To assist our development team we employed the world’s No.1 women’s keeper Australian International Rachel Imison. These new innovations will be announced soon.
